The Thomas Jason Lingo Community Center is located at 10284 Hwy. 17 South, Oak Grove, Louisiana  71263 and overseen by the NorthEast Educational Development Foundation (NEED).  The Thomas Jason Lingo Community Center idea was originated by Shelton & Patsy Ruffin & the NEED Foundation Board of Directors in August, 1997. The plan was to develop a community/agriculture complex for West Carroll Parish and Northeast Louisiana.  This facility provides extensive student activities through 4-H Club programs as well as to provide housing for the LSU AgCenter.

This complex provides over 31,000 square feet of heated and cooled area that includes an auditorium with stage and seating for over 1,000, conference rooms, 4-H Club library/workroom, and office space to accommodate the LSU Ag and Economic Development Center.

There are 164 full RV hook-ups available adjacent to the property.  Also, the Oak Grove Inn and Suites is located on the front of the property.
